GIVE MORE RESPONSIBILITY

The reason your boss gives you more responsibilities at work is because they feel you are capable and worthy. Isn’t that the message you want to give your child? Chores play an important role in developing a positive self esteem in children.
Of course, they may complain, just like you may complain about additional duties at work, but that doesn’t mean that they are not drawing strength and competence from the task. Even a two year-old can pick up their room or help you set the table. Chores are a great way to impart to your child that they are capable and valuable.
